Lumberjack Earns League MVP Honors

PLANO, Texas - Senior Nathan Flores was named Southland Conference Outstanding Male Track Athlete of the Year announced league officials Thursday afternoon. It is the second time in Flores' career that he has received the honor.
Flores helped guide the Lumberjacks to a Southland Conference runner-up finish at the outdoor championship meet last week by earning All-Southland Conference honors in three events. Flores led all athletes at the meet scoring 22 points.
Flores wraps up his final SLC Championship meet as a five-time SLC individual champion and a 16-time All-SLC honoree.
