
SFA Cross Country Team Ranked Fifth In Region

The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack cross country team is ranked fifth this week in a poll of head coaches from the region. The 'Jacks are one of the three Southland Conference squads ranked among the top fourteen teams from the region.
Arkansas tops the list followed by Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, then SFA. SMU and Rice follow the Lumberjacks with Sam Houston, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and the University of Houston rounding out the top 10.
The Ladyjack cross country squad is also ranked among the leaders in the region coming in this week at number 13. The SFA women's squad is ranked behind Southland Conference teams from Lamar and McNeese State. Arkansas also leads the women's rankings.
