
Ladyjacks Will Send Two Athletes to NCAAs

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack track and field team had two athletes qualify for the NCAA Championships Saturday from the NCAA regionals. Junior Blake Gordon qualified in the discus throw, while sophomore Shametra Boykins advanced in the triple jump.
Gordon earned an automatic berth in the NCAA Championships with her fourth-place finish in the discus. She recorded a throw of 167-10. Gordon is currently ranked 25th in the nation.
Boykins recorded a mark of 42-6.75 in the triple jump to earn a trip to the championship meet. Boykins is currently ranked 22nd in the nation.
The NCAA Championships will begin Wednesday June 11th, in Sacramento, Calif.
