Mike Thompson Finishes Strong at NCAA Meet

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack cross country team finished the 2003 season Monday afternoon at the NCAA Championships. SFA was represented by 2003 NCAA All-Region selections Nathan Flores and Mike Thompson.
Thompson finished the race 37th overall with his time of 30:14.2. Flores was the 75th runner to cross the finish line. Flores recorded a time of 30:42.4.
Both Thompson and Flores will focus on the track and field season, which begins Jan. 23rd, in the Leonard Hilton Invitational.
