SFA Competes at Northwestern State

NATCHITOCHES, La. - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack cross country team sent four runners to Northwestern State Monday to compete in the NSU Invitational. The Lumberjacks were led by Daniel Williams who finished eighth overall. Williams recorded a time of 28:10.91.
Freshman Steven Grice was the second Lumberjack to cross the line. Grice finished 18th overall with his time of 28:57.42. Curtis Wilson recorded a time of 30:15.41 to finish 29th overall.
The SFA cross country teams return to action Friday Oct. 17th at the Pre-Conference meet. The race will take place in Huntsville, Texas.
