Cash To Be Given Away To SFA Students During Games

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin athletic department officials and Citizens First Bank have teamed to offer Stephen F. Austin students a cash bonanza at both the Thursday and Saturday doubleheaders.
The weekend homestand tips off at 6:00 p.m Thursday night when the Ladyjacks host Lamar, followed by the Lumberjacks and Cardinals at 8:15 p.m. The two game stand continues Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. when the 'Jacks host Sam Houston State, followed by the Ladyjacks and Sam Houston at 6:15 p.m.
"This is an added addition to our overall corporate partnership with Citizens First Bank. Citizens is one of our highly valued partners and their generosity has allowed us to make available to SFA students an additional $4000 for cash giveaways at the next four games," said Gregg Fort, associate athletic director for external affairs.
Any SFA student in attendance at the Thursday and Saturday games will be eligible to take part in the cash giveaways throughout both games. All SFA students with a valid ID receive free admission to any SFA athletic event.
Both the Lumberjacks and Ladyjacks currently lead the Southland Conference with perfect 5-0 Southland Conference records.
