SFA Tennis Concludes Texas Tennis Championships

The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack tennis team concluded the final day of the Texas Tennis Championships Sunday with a solid performance. Senior Sandra Wolfe, lost her first match of the weekend but battle back to win her final two taking the consolation round of flight four singles. Wolfe knocked off Lamar's Kendall Gibbs, 6-4, 6-3, for the victory.
Other Ladyjacks that picked up singles victories on Sunday were Gennan Houston, Ashley Johnson and Pilar Sosa. The Ladyjacks also had three doubles teams pick up wins on Sunday including the team of Melissa Bass and Megan Langston, Gennan and Robin Houston and Pilar Sosa and Jennifer Cline.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Friday at the Lamar Tournament in Beaumont, Texas.
