
Jackson's Jumper Lifts 'Jacks Over Louisiana-Monroe, 52-51

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Skip Jackson hit a 12-foot jump shot with one second left to give Stephen F. Austin a 52-51 victory Saturday afternoon over Louisiana-Monroe.
SFA (12-13, 9-9 Southland) trailed 26-20 at the half.
Louisiana-Monroe (17-11, 13-5) was led by Nick Coln, who had 12 points at the half but picked up only five more in the second half.
Louisiana-Monroe had 21 field goals to 20 for SFA and was 5-of-13 on 3-pointers to 3-of-15 for the Lumberjacks.
Although SFA committed 14 fouls to 13 for Louisiana-Monroe, the Lumberjacks had twice as many free throws. SFA hit 9-of-12 from the line to 4-of-6 for Louisiana-Monroe.
Percy Green led SFA with 20 points.
