"This the best race the women's team has ran since I've been here," said SFA distance coach Alex Gibby. "Ana Rodriguez and Emily Hufstedler ran tremendous races. We had four ladies that ran with Texas-Arlington's number two runner and UTA is the two-time defending Southland Conference champion. Both our men and women's teams ran solid races today. The men ran a solid early season race. Our top three guys showed some rust. We need to tighten up some or our gaps but we will have a better idea where we stand after the Auburn Invite in two weeks."
The SFA cross country teams return to action Saturday Oct. 19th, at the Auburn Invite in Auburn, Ala.
