SFA Track and Field Competes At The Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Stephen F. Austin State University track and field team participated in the 2001 Drake Relays April 26-28. Several student athletes made stunning performance for SFA with top five finishes. These athletes included pole vaulter Adam Keul (Tyler, Tex.), pole vaulter Misty Ballard (Carlsbad, NM.), high jumper Paul Todd (Marshall, Tex.) and 10000M runner Nathan Flores (Kingwood, Tex.).
Ballard not only placed first in the first round of the pole vaulting competition, but she advanced to the elite competition and finished sixth overall.
The SFA track and field team will be back in action Saturday, May 5, at 2:30 PM at the Texas/Louisiana Challenge. This track meet will be held right here in Nacogdoches, Texas. Admission is free. All events will take place in Homer Bryce Stadium.
