Ladyjack Tennis Falls To SLU

The Ladyjack tennis team fell one point short Sunday afternoon against Southeastern Louisiana, as SLU took two of three doubles matches, to claim the Southland Conference win over SFA.
Ashley Cagle won 7-5, 6-1 playing in the fifth spot, while Meredith Watson won 6-1, 6-1 in the third slot Sunday afternoon. Jessica Beauchene also claimed a 6-3, 6-0 victory in the singles for the Ladyjacks.
In the doubles matches, only Cagle and Beauchene could claim victory as SLU inched past the Ladyjacks.
