Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack basketball head coach Danny Kaspar has announced the recent signing of a third student-athlete during the early signing period for the Lumberjack basketball team. Bogdan Konotsuk, a 6-8, 230 pound forward from McLennan County Community College has agreed to continue his education and play basketball for SFA next fall.
Konotsuk is currently attending McLennan County Community College in Waco where he averaged 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game last season as a freshman.
The native of Estonia will have two years of eligibility remaining when he joins the Lumberjacks next fall.
"I am very excited about adding a player of Bogdan's abilities to our team," said Kaspar. "Bogdan will bring with him a presence inside that should help us greatly next season."
Konotsuk is one of three student-athletes the Lumberjacks were able to sign during the recent early signing period. SFA also signed Brian Young, a forward from San Angelo Central High School and Marcus Clark, a point guard from Marshall High School to letters of intent to continue their education and play for SFA next year.
