HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) - Senecca Wall scored 16 points to help Sam Houston State defeat Stephen F. Austin 64-53 Monday night.

Eddy Barlow and Jeremy Burkhalter each scored 15 for Sam Houston (10-8, 6-5 Southland). Burkhalter also grabbed a game-high-tying nine rebounds.

Ron Banks had a game-high 19 points for Stephen F. Austin (7-11, 4-8). Skip Jackson added 12.

The Lumberjacks were plagued by poor shooting, hitting just 16-of-53 shots from the field for 30 percent.

Eddy Fobbs, the Bearkats' 6-11 freshman, blocked six shots.
