Kaspar Rounds Out Staff with Hiring of Rennie Bailey

LUMBERJACK BASKETBALL ROUNDS OUT STAFF

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Stephen F. Austin head basketball coach Danny Kaspar announced today that Rennie Bailey has been added to his staff to fill the final coaching position for the Lumberjack basketball program. Bailey comes to SFA after spending the past six seasons as the head coach at Panola Junior College.
Bailey's teams at Panola Junior College earned playoff spots two of the past three seasons in Texas Eastern Conference play. During his six seasons at PJC, Bailey coached a number of All-Texas Eastern Conference players.
Prior to taking over as head coach at Panola, Bailey made stops at Louisiana Tech and Nicholls State University where he served as an assistant coach. Bailey was also a three year starter at Louisiana Tech alongside NBA great Karl Malone. He ranks seventh on the all-time steals and assists list at Louisiana Tech.
Bailey joins Steve Lutz as the full-time assistants for Kaspar on the Lumberjack basketball staff.
