Track Teams At Texas Relays

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin State University men's and women's track teams are in Austin participating in the 2000 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. The meet started April 5 and ends April 8.

During day two of the meet several Stephen F. Austin Track team members have competed successfully. Carissa Rutland, a freshman distance runner from Houston, Texas, placed third in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 38:19.60. Shannon Lindquist, a junior distance runner from Tucson, Arizona, placed 11th in 10,000 meter run with a time of 40:16.32. On the men's side, Ryan Kohrs, a senior from Wilson, Kansas placed eighth in the 10,000 meteR run with a time of 33:23.21.
