Ron Banks led the Lumberjacks with 24 points as SFA overcame a four point halftime deficit to beat Southeastern Louisiana, 66-62, Saturday afternoon at the Coliseum.
Banks was 9 of 10 from the field and 6 of 8 at the free throw line and also added six rebounds in leading SFA to the win. Skip Jackson came off the bench to add 11 points on a four of six shooting night. Ransom White added nine points and also led the team with nine rebounds.
The 'Jacks shot 57.5% from the field, including 50% on three pointers, making five of ten attempts. Southeastern Louisiana also connected on 51.1% of their field goal attempts, but were only five of 15 from beyond the three point arc.
Jamaal Wolfe led SLU with 15 points while Harold Juluke led the Lions on the glass with six rebounds.
