Ladyjack Volleyball Continues Winning Streak

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin State University Ladyjack volleyball team continued its winning streak tonight by defeating Northwestern State University 15-8, 15-5, 15-5. The Ladyjacks are now 9-8 overall and 6-3 in Southland Conference play.
The Ladyjacks were led this weekend by sophomore, Jennifer Wilson. Against Louisiana-Monroe Wilson hit .714 and .800 against Northwestern State. Wilson had 19 kills and only one error the entire weekend. At the net, Wilson had four block assists.
Junior, setter Marissa Dorcheus accumulated 87 assists between the two matches. Continuing her success on the court, Dorcheus had 21 total digs for the series.
The lone Senior, Jenny Orndorff was aggressive from the service line with four service aces.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Friday, October 13, in Beaumont, Texas as they face the Lamar Lady Cardinals. The match will begin at 7:00 PM.
