Ladyjack Volleyball Defeats Lamar In Four Games

BEAUMONT, Texas -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks defeated the Lamar Lady Cardinals in four games 3-15, 15-11, 15-11, 15-10. The Ladyjacks are currently 10-8 overall and 7-3 in Southland Conference play.
Junior, middle blocker Kristy Rhodes led the Ladyjacks with a hitting percentage of .500. Rhodes had 25 kills, 45 total attempts and only four errors for the night. Rhodes also helped her team at the net with three block assists. Sophomore, Jennifer Wilson accumulated six block assists for the night. Junior, setter Marissa Dorcheus had an impressive night with 68 assists and 15 digs.
The Ladyjacks will be back in action Saturday, October 14, at 4:00 PM in Lake Charles, Louisiana as they face the McNeese State Cowgirls.
