JACKSONVILLE, Alabama -- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack soccer team lost to tournament host, Jacksonville State in their first match of the Kick-Out Cancer Tournament.
The Ladyjacks had four total shots for the night, those shots were taken by Lotta Westerberg, Ashley King and Nicole Horn. Each of these ladies also had a shot on goal. The ladyjacks also took three corner kicks.
Stephen F. Austin had three goalies for the match. Elizabeth Evatt played 15:00 and had two saves. Freshman goalie, Heather Matchette stepped in for 39:00 and had one goal against her and two saves. Westerberg came out of forward and played goalie for 36:00 with one save and two goals against her. Both Evatt and Matchette were taken out of the match due to injury.
The Ladyjacks will finish out the tournament playing Georgia Southern on September 10 at 11:00 a.m.
