Gabby Spencer joined Stephen F. Austin in 2025 as Assistant Director of Football Operations and Recruiting Operations. She brings a strong background in football administration, recruiting, and communications with experience across Division I athletics and the NFL.
Spencer’s love for football began at an early age, following her father Marvin Spencer, who serves as Head of Equipment at Middle Tennessee State University. Before coming to Nacogdoches, she served as Director of On-Campus Recruiting, Social Media, and Football Operations at Alabama State University, where she oversaw recruiting logistics, student-athlete support, and football operations. She also worked in athletic communications at the University of Alabama and gained professional experience with the Green Bay Packers as a social media intern.
A native of Pearland, Texas, Spencer was a member of Pearland High School’s 2010 State Championship football team. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and enjoys life with her fiancé, Tyler Stewart, and her bonus son, Kayden Stewart.
