McKenzie brings a dynamic blend of collegiate athletic excellence, playing experience, and a strong academic foundation to her coaching career. A former Division I student-athlete, McKenzie earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science with a minor in Pre-Professional Health from Austin Peay State University in May 2019. She continued her academic journey at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in December 2021, focusing on Student Affairs and Higher Education, Mass Communication, and Public Administration.
As a standout player at Austin Peay, McKenzie received First-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) honors in 2015, was named to the OVC All-Newcomer Team, and was a three-time OVC Offensive Player of the Week. Her academic and athletic excellence was further recognized through the OVC Academic Medal of Honor and OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll from 2016 to 2018. She concluded her collegiate career ranked in the Top 10 in program history in goals (16), assists (7), and points (39).
Following her collegiate success, McKenzie competed internationally in Spain with American International Sports Teams during the summer of 2019. She later joined the semi-professional ranks, playing for The Louisville Triumph in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) for two seasons (2023–2025).
McKenzie’s coaching career began in 2015 with Kelley Guth Soccer Camps and Clarksville Soccer Club (CSC), where she served through 2020 and was appointed Lead Coach for CSC’s 2012 girls’ team in 2019. In 2023, she joined Pines Futsal Association as the lead coach for the 2016/2017 girls’ team, demonstrating her commitment to player development across all levels. Most recently, she was named Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach at Presentation Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, for the fall 2024 season.
