Chance Chapman begins his sixth season with the SFA soccer team in 2023 as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator after spending one season as a volunteer assistant coach in 2018. On October 3rd, 2023, Chapman was named Interim Head Coach. In Chapman's first season with the team, the Ladyjacks posted a 7-9-3 regular season record before making a strong run in the 2018 Southland Conference Tournament, knocking off two higher seeded teams and earning a title game berth.
