Freshman (2016-17): Took part in 11 of the 'Jacks' 33 games as a true freshman and averaged six minutes, 2.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per game...Connected on 38.9-percent (7-for-18) of his field goal attempts, 33.3-percent of his three-point tries (3-for-9) and 80-percent (12-for-15) of his free throws....Made his collegiate debut in SFA's home game against Centenary College and grabbed one rebound in two minutes (12/3)...Came off the bench for 21 minutes and delivered his finest performance by putting in nine points in SFA's comeback win over Southern Miss at the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic (12/23)...Followed that up by hitting a pair of three-pointers as part of an eight-point outing against Utah in the fifth-place game of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic (12/25).
High School: Put in three years of varsity service - two of which were as a starter - for head coach Chris Dyer's DeSoto High School squad...Capped his prep career with a promotion to team captain as a senior and responded by leading DeSoto (36-2) to the 6A state title with a 73-54 knockout of number-one ranked Atascosita High School in the championship tilt...Pumped in a team-best 21 points in the Eagles' 73-49 regional semifinal win over Lubbock Coronado...Helped lift the Eagles to a ranking as high as number four in the state as during the 2015-16 campaign...Averaged 14.6 points per game through his high school career and made his first state tournament appearance as a sophomore when the Eagles were one of the final four teams standing...Landed Arlington Optimist and Whataburger Tournament All-Tournament acclaim...Also enjoyed a three-year varsity baseball career where he was an all-district performer in center field...Was a three-year member of the National Society of High School Scholars...Suited up on the club basketball circuit with the Mo Williams Academy as well as the Defenders.
