Chris is entering his fifth season with the Lumberjacks. Chis is the all time leader in total points (360) and field goals made (68) for the Lumberjacks. Chris also currently sits second in career PAT’s (156) trailing Jordan Wiggs mark of 181.
2023 (Junior): Was the Lumberjacks primary place kicker throughout the season…Played in all 11 games for SFA…Was 17 for 24 on field goals…went 36 for 36 on PATs…Was the leading scorer for the Lumberjacks with 87 points…Earned fourth team All-UAC honors…Set school records for career field goals made and career points…Broke the field goal record against Northwestern State kicking his 58th career field goal to pass the previous record of 57 by Chuck Rawlison.
2022 (Sophomore): Was the Lumberjacks primary place kicker throughout the season...Played in all 11 games for SFA...Was 18 for 24 on field goals...Went eight for eight from field goals between 30-39 yards...Named to the All-WAC First Team.
2021 (Redshirt Freshman): Came out on the field for the special team unit as the kicker for the Lumberjacks all season long … Accumulated 20 field goals on 24 attempts (83.33%) throughout the season … Was perfect on the season when it came to field goals under 40 yards (13 for 13) … Made the longest field goal of his career with a 53-yard field goal … Was also perfect on 49 extra points … Ended the year putting 109 points on the board for the Lumberjacks
2020 (COVID season): Played in all ten games for the Lumberjacks as the team’s starting kicker … Ended the year with 13 field goals on 19 attempts (68.42%) … Was nearly perfect on extra points on the year making 28 out of 29 … His best game of the year came against Western Colorado (Oct. 31) where he was 3 for 3 on field goals, which included his longest field goal of the season of 48 yards, and 7 for 8 on extra points

Personal: Chris is the son to Rosa Gonzalez and Cristobal Campos and the brother to Kimberly Campos (sister). His sister Kimberly played at Tyler Junior College and SFA. During his time at SFA Chris obtained his degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology and is now pursuing his masters degree in public administration.
