NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The cross-country season is set to kick off with the McNeese Opener on Friday, September 4, at the Enos Derbonne Sports Complex in Lake Charles, LA. This event will feature a competitive lineup of teams, including Centenary (La.), Lamar, McNeese, Northwestern State, and Stephen F. Austin (SFA).

PARTICIPANTS AND RANKINGS
The event will showcase some of the region's strongest collegiate cross-country teams. The Stephen F. Austin teams are highly ranked, with the women holding sixth place and the men fourth in the south central region, according to the USTFCCCA Poll Rankings. Lamar's men's team is ranked 11th, and McNeese's men's team is 15th in the same region, promising an exciting and competitive meet.
