SFA suffers only second SLC series loss of the season

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Nicholls manufactured 25 hits which resulted in two dozen runs on Saturday afternoon in the second game of the Southland Conference series from Pilgrim's Park. Stephen F. Austin answered the Colonels' two-run first inning with two runs in the bottom half, highlighted by a solo home run by Cermodrick Bland, but the visitors produced 22 runs over the next six innings, including three five-run frames to win 24-3 in seven innings. The Jacks fall to 22-19 overall and 11-9 in SLC play.
