Ladyjacks Set to Face No. 1 Seeded McNeese in SLC Title Game

SFA faces an Ayla Guzzardo led team for the second straight season with a chance to defend their 2025 title.
LAKE CHARLES, La.- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program will face off against No. 1 McNeese for their second straight appearance in the SLC Championship game.
GAME 1 vs MCNEESE: McNeese 70, SFA 64 (OT)
• Harmanie Dominguez moved into a tie for fifth in All-Time three-pointers at SFA and led the team with 19 points and four threes.
• Kaylinn Kemp followed with 10 points and grabbed six boards (ties her career high).
• Key Roseby and Aziyah Farrier tied for the team lead with nine rebounds.
• Ashlyn Traylor-Walker led the team with four assists and tied Farrier for the team lead with two blocks.
GAME 2 @ MCNEESE: McNeese 87, SFA 60
• McNeese sweeps the season series against SFA and breaks a seven-game win streak.
• Kaylinn Kemp and Myka Perry led the team with 12 points each.
• Key Roseby led the team with seven rebounds.
• Harmanie Dominguez scored three three-pointers which puts her three away from breaking the single season threes record.
LAST TIME OUT
• SFA defeats No. 2 seeded Lamar for the second season in a row to advance to the SLC Championship Game.
• Kaylinn Kemp led the team with 17 points and shot 90.0 percent from the free throw line (9-10).
• Ashlyn Traylor-Walker scored 16 points including the final six of the game and went 5-6 from the free throw line.
• Key Roseby recorded 10 points for her 26th game with at least 10 points this season.

Kemp is 14 assists away from breaking the freshman assist record that is held by current WVU guard, Jordan Harrison.
• Aziyah Farrier is 24th nationally and 1st in the conference with 1.88 blocks/game. She also currently leads the conference and ranked 19th nationally with 62 blocks this season, which is the 5th most in a single season in Ladyjack history.
