
Ladyjacks Return to the Sawmill for the Final Time this Season

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program will return to the Sawmill for the last time during the 2025-26 season. Thursday night against New Orleans is Jersey Night and Saturday is Senior Day where SFA will honor three seniors; Hope LeMelle, Ashlyn Traylor-Walker, and Harmanie Dominguez.
WHERE TO TUNE IN
• Both games will be broadcasted on ESPN+ with Cade Haak on the call on Q107.
LAST TIME OUT
• SFA split the season series against UTRGV with both road teams picking up victories.
• The six three-pointers the Ladyjacks made in the second quarter is tied for the most SFA has made in a single quarter this season. SFA also made six threes in the fourth quarter against SLU on Jan. 3 and in the third quarter against SCU on Nov. 14.
• Key Roseby led the team with 17 points and went 3-7 from beyond the arc.
• Harmanie Dominguez followed with 14 points and led the team with four three-pointers.
• Aziyah Farrier was the third Ladyjack in double figures with 11 points and led the team with six boards.
• Kaylinn Kemp led the team with seven assists and four steals while Cha Gardner led the team with three blocks.
SCOUTING NEW ORLEANS
• The Privateers will head to the Sawmill with a 3-22 record and a 3-14 conference record.
• Shanihya Brown leads the team with 253 points followed by 249 points from Brialle Washington.
• Two Privateers have over 100 rebounds this season; Jayla Kimbrough with 132 and Lauren Banks who has recorded 126.
• Brown leads the Privateers with 87 assists and 63 steals.
SCOUTING NICHOLLS
• The Nicholls Colonels enter the week with a 12-12 record and an 8-9 conference record. Currently they hold the final spot in the SLC Tournament and are tied with ETAMU.
• Sh'Diamond McKnight leads the team with 264 points followed closely by Marie Kenembeni who has 260 points.
• Emani Burks leads Nicholls with 149 rebounds followed by 115 from Kenembeni.
• Anyra Wilson leads the team with 71 assists and 51 steals.
• Burks also leads the team with 29 blocks on the season.
SERIES HISTORY
• SFA leads the All-Time series against the Privateers, 12-4 with a five-game win streak and a 6-0 record in the Sawmill.
• SFA holds a 50-8 series lead over the Nicholls Colonels and are looking to sweep the season series after defeating the Colonels on January 15, 86-78.
SENIOR DAY
• The Ladyjacks will honor three seniors on Saturday: Hope LeMelle, Ashlyn Traylor-Walker and Harmanie Dominguez.
• All three have been with the SFA program for the past two seasons and were a part of the 2024-25 SLC Tournament Championship team and a March Madness appearance.
QUEEN KEY
• Key Roseby was named SLC Player of the week for the second time this season
• She helped lead SFA to two wins over TAMUCC and UTRGV. She recorded 34 points (17.0 points per game), five rebounds, eight assists, and four steals. Roseby shot 46.2 from the field, 36.4 from beyond the arc, and 75.0 percent from the free throw line. She set a new career high with six assists against TAMUCC and led the team with 17 points against UTRGV.
MONEY MANIE
• After recording the second most three-pointers in a single season at SFA with 89, Harmanie Dominguez continues to be one of the most prolific shooters from beyond the arc. Dominguez currently has 162 career three-pointers at SFA and is 6 away from passing Kirby Killingsworth for fourth All-Time
• In the Jan. 29 matchup against McNeese, Dominguez made four three-pointers to pass Chanell Hayes and Britany Vinson to tie Brentney Branch for 5th All-Time with 153 three-pointers.
• Against New Orleans, Dominguez recorded four three-pointers which officially put her 8th All-Time, passing Stephanie Whitmore.
• In the game against HCU, Dominguez passed Katrina Price for 9th in three-pointers made at SFA.
• With her second three-pointer against East Texas A&M, Dominguez passed current teammate Avery Vansickle for the 10th most made three-pointers by a Ladyjack with 127.
• She also drained her 300th career three-pointer against the Lady Lions of SLU.

• Harmanie Dominguez is 18th in the nation with 2.88 three pointers/game, she is also 21st nationally in made three-pointers with 75.
• Kaylinn Kemp is 23rd nationally and 1st in the conference with 5.5 assists/game and 24th nationally with 142 assists. She is also 58th nationally with an 85.1 free throw percentage.
• Aziyah Farrier is 25th nationally and 1st in the conference with 1.92 blocks/game. She also currently leads the conference and ranked 23rd nationally with 48 blocks this season.
HIGH FLYING OFFENSE
• The Ladyjacks had a three-game streak of scoring at least 85 points which is the first time this has happened since a seven-game streak during the 2020-21 season.
• SFA averages 75.4 points per game which leads the conference which is seven points more than second place McNeese. In terms of total points, the Ladyjacks have scored 200 more points than the Cowgirls.
• Three Ladyjacks are ranked in the top 10 in the Southland in points and points per game.
• SFA has four that have scored over 300 points this season which is double the next closest teams (ETAMU and NSU).
