SIerra McCluer and Sydney Williams named SLC Players of the Week

FRISCO, Texas – Sierra McCluer and Sydney Williams were announced as the Southland Player of the Week on Tuesday morning.
Sierra McCluer earned Southland Goalkeeper of the Week Honors following her shutout performance against both Texas A&M and Houston. With a combined 18 saves while tying a career high at 10 against Houston, Sierra posted a shutout against both opponents.
Both athletes etched their names in SFA history, as the program has shut out back-to-back Power-4 opponents while remaining unbeaten for the first time in history. Houston was third in the nation in goals per game at 4.40 before making its way to Nacogdoches, and Texas A&M had not scored against one team this season, except for SFA.
