'Jacks hang around national conversation following SLC-opening win over McNeese
NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin football continues to receive votes in the latest release of both national FCS polls on Monday morning. SFA earned 11 points (+2) in the AFCA FCS Top 25 Coaches Poll and recorded 48 points (+9) in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 rankings.
SFA joins Southeastern Louisiana as Southland Conference teams receiving votes in the AFCA rankings, while #20 UIW and #25 Lamar are both ranked in the coaches poll. Lamar moves up to #20 in the Stats Perform Top 25. SFA and UIW are the lone teams receiving votes in the media poll.
