'Jacks Complete West Texas Classic as Final Round is Canceled Due to Wind

ABILENE, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin women's golf team completed two rounds in the West Texas Classic as round three, scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th, was canceled due to high winds.
In two rounds of action, the Ladyjacks finished 13th overall out of 15 universities in the West Texas Classic. The 'Jacks completed rounds one and two at a total of +85 (645), with their best round being shot at a team total of 317.
Avree Fields was the leading scorer for SFA in round one, as she ended the round at 77 and completed the day with a total of +19 to par and tied for 44th. In round two, Brooke Dishman led the 'Jacks with a total of 80. She finished the day at +21 and tied for 53rd.
Kinley Pessel capped off her day with +23 to par and finished the event at a tie for 64th. Taryn Clayton tied at 68th with a total score of +25, and Sydney Moss ended the day at +28 to tie for 73rd.
The 'Jacks look to swing back into action on March 10th and 11th to compete in the HCU Women's Husky Intercollegiate in Sugar Land, Texas.
