Faith Blackstone Named SLC Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas- Faith Blackstone was named Southland Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Blackstone led the 'Jacks to two conference wins over New Orleans and Lamar last week by scoring 35 points, shooting .550 from the floor and .813 from the free throw line. She also recorded 16 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals. In the game against New Orleans, Blackstone recorded her third double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Against Lamar, she shot 50 percent from the field with 20 points and six rebounds. She averaged 17.5 points and 8.0 rebounds this past week.
