
Men's Golf Finishes 13th at Gulf Coast Collegiate

New Orleans, La.- The Stephen F. Austin men's golf team concluded their round at the Gulf Coast Collegiate in New Orleans finishing 13th overall and a team score of +40 over par.
Matthew Hewitt was the Jacks top finisher, shooting -5 (67) under par in his second round, and finished the week out at a total of +8 over par to be the top golfer for SFA, and closed out the tournament individually placing T-37th in a field of 96 contestants.
Zach Robertson also looked to highlight the scorecard shooting -2 (70) under par in his second round along side Cordell Knox who shot his best at even in his second round.
Knox finished at +10 to tie for 46th, meanwhile Robertson capped off his round at +12 and finished tied for 56th place. Sam Gargis concluded his round tied at 69th with a total score of +17, and Carter Patterson ended the Gulf Coast Collegiate at 95th place.
SFA men's golf looks to hit the links again from March 10th-11th to participate in the South Texas Match Play in McAllen, TX.
