
Ladyjacks Restart Conference Play at ETAMU and Northwestern State

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program is set to return from their Christmas break with three road conference games. SFA will face East Texas A&M on Monday, December 29 at 4:00 p.m. before heading to Northwestern State for a New Year's Eve matchup at 1:00 p.m.
WHERE TO TUNE IN
• Both games will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and Cade Haak will be on the radio call on Q107.
SCOUTING ETAMU
• The ETAMU Lions return from the Christmas break with a 4-5 record and a 0-2 conference record.
• Two Lions have recorded over 100 points. Sophomore guard, Reza Po leads the team with 125 points followed by redshirt sophomore forward, Tiani Ellison who has 108 points.
• Ellison leads the team with 43 rebounds, followed by Cora Horvath with 35 rebounds.
• Cora Horvath leads ETAMU with 32 assists with Ahmya Boyce following with 27 assists.
• Six Lions have recorded at least 10 steals while four have at least five blocks.
SCOUTING NSU
• NSU enters the week with a 6-5 overall record and a perfect 3-0 conference record for the first time since the 2014-15 season where the Lady Demons started conference play 5-0.
• Sophomore forward, Vernell Atamah leads the team and the conference with 221 points. She also leads the conference in three-point percentage at 42.0 percent.
• Senior guard, Carla Celaya leads the Lady Demons with 76 rebounds followed by sophomore forward, Clarence Djuela with 67 rebounds.
• Reigning SLC Player of the Week, Nya Valentine leads the team with 42 assists.
• Four Lady Demons have at least 10 steals recorded with Djuela and Atamah being the only two above five blocks.
ROAD TO 1,500
• Senior, Harmanie Dominguez is 11 points away from 1,500 career point after leading the team with 19 points against Arkansas.
• She has recorded double figures in every game except one this season and leads the team with 163 points this season.
