
Ladyjacks Set to Open Conference Play Against Vaqueros and Islanders

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin women's basketball program is opening their 2025-26 Southland slate against the UTRGV Vaqueros on Monday night followed by the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders on Wednesday night.
WHERE TO TUNE IN
• This game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Rob Meyers on the call.
• Cade Haak will be on the radio call live on Q107.
LAST TIME OUT
• SFA extends their all-time series lead to 61-11 and their win streak goes to five games.
• Harmanie Dominguez drops her second straight 20-plus point game of the season with 21.
• Key Roseby and Myka Perry followed with 13 points each.
• Aziyah Farrier recorded her second career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds and led the team with two blocks.
• Kaylinn Kemp also chipped in 10 points and led the team with seven assists which ties her career high that she set last game against Longwood.
• The 'Jacks recorded their best free throw shooting game of the season going 15-16 (.938) from the charity stripe.

• UTRGV enters the Sawmill with a 3-5 record and are currently on a four-game losing streak with their last win coming against Texas State on November 17.
• Junior guard, Jalayah Ingram is the only Vaquero who has scored over 100 points with 119 on the season and averages 17.0 points per game.
• Senior forward, Charlotte O'Keefe leads the team with 93 rebounds and averages 13.3 per game which ranks her first in the nation. She is also third in the nation in offensive rebounds per game, ninth in the nation in defensive rebounds per game and leads the conference with four double-doubles. O'Keefe leads the team in blocks with 12.
• Ingram and junior guard Erin Maguire have facilitated 55 assists this season.
• Ingram leads the team with 15 steals followed closely by O'Keefe with 12.
SCOUTING TAMU-CC
• The Islanders enter the week with a 1-6 record and will open their conference slate against Lamar on Monday night.
• There are no Islanders with over 90 points but Samora Watson and Marissa Shelton both average double-digit points per game.
• Senior forward K'Nari Holliday leads the team with 50 rebounds and averages 7,1 per game.
• Grad guard, Chelsea Wooten leads the team with 27 assists followed by Watson who has 21. Wooten and Watson are tied for the team lead with 13 steals.
• Sophomore forward Rayna Williams leads the Islanders with seven blocks followed closely by Holiday with six.
