SFA puts 3-0 record on the line against unbeaten Wildcats
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – A second-straight in-state matchup is on tap for Stephen F. Austin men's basketball on Friday night inside William R. Johnson Coliseum as the 'Jacks battle unbeaten Abilene Christian. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. The action will be streamed live on ESPN+ and additional live coverage links are available at www.SFAjacks.com.

SFA heads to California for the first two games of a three-game road swing away from WRJ Coliseum. The 'Jacks meet Fresno State (2-2) on Tuesday, November 18, from inside the Save Mart Center. Three days later, SFA trips to Malibu for a Friday night tip off against Pepperdine (2-1). It will be the first meeting with both the Bulldogs and the Waves.
BRAEUER GETS HIS FIRST
First-year head coach Matt Braeuer earned his first career win against Millsaps, knocked off Arkansas State for his first win over a Division I opponent and then the 'Jacks handled Rice for Braeuer's first road win.

An exhibition edition of the hardwood version of the Battle of the Piney Woods took place in Houston on October 25 and it was the Lumberjacks that outlasted their Conference USA opposition in overtime beating longtime foe Sam Houston State 105-100 in the extra period. SFA shot over 51% from the floor, withstood a 59-point second-half effort by the Bearkats who erased a 15-point deficit at the intermission and used a 43-point outburst, including a perfect 19-of-19 from the stripe, by Thompson to claim the unofficial victory in a series that was first contested in 1925.

- In their first road test of the season, Stephen F. Austin had all the answers for host Rice inside Tudor Fieldhouse as the 'Jacks trailed for just 22 seconds in the game's first moments before controlling the tempo throughout in an 81-69 victory
- The 'Jacks shot 50% from the floor in the first half, including a 7-for-14 effort from beyond-the-arc and played with a lead for 18:42 of the twenty minutes
- The 'Jacks shot 49% from the floor, 43% from three-point range and 74% from the stripe
