BEAUMONT, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks men's basketball team (7-8, 0-4) continue conference play as they hit the road to square off with the hosting Lamar University Cardinals (9-6, 4-0).

The Lumberjacks will look to get back in the win column on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Lamar and post their second consecutive road victory. The Lumberjacks are coming off one of their best offensive games of the season vs. Houston Christian University as they posted their fourth highest point total in a game this season with 73 points. The Lumberjacks sport the best defense in the Southland Conference this season as they are holding opponents to a mere 63 points per game as teams are shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 28 percent from beyond the arc against the 'Jacks defense.
