Marje Smith Signs with Hamilton Tiger-Cats

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Former Lumberjack defensive end Marje Smith has signed with the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger-cats.
Marje spent five years on the Lumberjacks roster after transferring from Baylor University. The Marshall, Texas native played in 38 games for the Lumberjacks during his time with the program. During his career Smith racked up 26 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, 17 total tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries, and one interception. Marje also totaled nine solo sacks and three assisted sacks during his time at SFA.
