Three Ladyjacks Earn WAC Postseason Awards

Destini Lombard earned WAC Defensive Player of the Year and a spot on the WAC All-Defensive Team after leading the team with 80 steals and is fourth on the team with 17 blocks. She is also ranked fourth on the team with 126 rebounds. On the offensive side, Lombard leads the team with 120 assists and third on the team with 311 points on the season. Lombard is 20th in the nation in total steals, 26th with 2.58 steals per game, and 42nd in assists to turnover ratio with 2.18. She set her career-high in points against SEC opponent Alabama with 19 and set a career-high in rebound with nine at home against California Baptist.
Kurstyn Harden earned a spot on the All-WAC First Team after leading the team with 534 points, 136 rebounds, and second on the team with 26 blocks. She is currently on a streak of five consecutive, 20-point performances and has a total of 13 games this season where she has scored 20 or more points. Harden also has eight double-doubles on the season which is tied for third most in the WAC. She is 62nd in the nation in total points, sixth in free throws made with 171, and 28th in field goal percentage at 56.2%.
Kyla Deck earned a spot on the WAC All-Defensive Team after leading the team in steals per game with 2.65, which is 22nd in the nation, second on the team in total steals at 69 which is 51st in the nation, and has 91 total rebounds with 83 of them being defensive rebounds. Like Lombard, Deck is also a threat on the offensive side as she is second on the team with 323 points, and third on the team with 44 made three-pointers. She has set her career-high in points three times this season with the most recent one being in the game at Abilene Christian where she scored 34 points against the Wildcats.
