
Three Lumberjacks Earn Associated Press 2024 All-American Honors

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Lumberjacks kicker Chris Campos, wide receiver Kylon Harris, and cornerback Jeremiah Walker were all named to the 2024 Associated Press (AP) All-America FCS awards list.
Campos was named to the second-team offense All-America team. Chris, a native of Nacogdoches, wrapped up his fifth and final season with the Lumberjacks this past Fall.
In 12 games played this season he was a perfect 51-for-51 on PATs, totaled 105 points, and was 18-for-21 on field goals. His only three missed field goals were from 50+ yards. In his career he was 207-for-209 PATs, 465 points scored, and 86-for-112 on field goals. He finished his collegiate kicking career tied for second in the FCS in career field goals made (86). Campos is the Lumberjacks all-time leader in points (465), PAT made (207), and field goals made (86) cementing his spot in the record book for the Lumberjacks.
Wide receiver Kylon Harris was named to the Honorable Mention offense All-America team. The junior from Reserve, Louisiana, played in all 12 games and was the leading receiver this season for the Lumberjacks and set career highs with 87 receptions, 1,039 yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns. This was his first year over 1,000 yards receiving in his collegiate career. He had a conference high 13 receptions at Southeastern with 116 totals yards. He totaled over 100 receiving yards in five games including a season high 119 yards at East Texas A&M.
Cornerback Jeremiah Walker was named to the Honorable Mention defense All-America team. Jeremiah, a senior from Houston, Texas, played in all 12 games this season for the Lumberjacks with 34 total tackles, 22 solo tackles, and six pass breakups. In his five-year career he totaled over 20 tackles each season.
