Kamryn Jiles and Ella Morgan Named SLC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week

FRISCO, Texas- After securing their 12th Southland Regular Season Championship, SFA was awarded the Southland Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Sunday morning.
Kamryn Jiles was named SLC Offensive Player of the Week after leading with two goals, one assist, and four shots in Friday night's match against Northwestern State. She recorded five points in the match against NSU, which is her second-highest in a match this season. After missing last season due to an injury, she is second on the team this season with seven goals and five assists.
Ella Morgan earned her second SLC Defensive Player of the Week as she anchored the defensive line while playing all 90 minutes against NSU and recorded one shot. She has been a leader for the defense that recorded their 10th shutout of the season and have only allowed 0.50 goals per game the entire season.
