Sam Vidlak and Chris Campos Named Honorable Mention SLC Offensive and Special Teams POTW

Nacogdoches, Texas- Stephen F. Austin junior quarterback Sam Vidlak and senior kicker Chris Campos earned Southland Conference (SLC) offensive honorable mention Player of the Week awards (POTW). Vidlak was named to the Offensive team and Campos to the Special Teams.
Sam, a junior from Applegate, Oregon was 23-for-29 passing with a career-high 307 yards through the air and four passing touchdowns. His 23 completions also were a career high. Sam's four passing touchdown performance marked his third consecutive game with 3+ passing touchdowns and his fourth overall. This was also his first game with 300+ passing yards.
Chris, a senior from Nacogdoches, Texas was 8-for-8 on PATs against the Northwestern State Demons and was 1-for-2 on fields goals. Chris also set the SFA record for most made PATs all-time vs. Northwestern State and now holds the record for field goals made (74), PATs made (186) and total points (408).
Chris ranks 4th all time in career field goals made in the FCS. Campos was a perfect 8-for-8 PATs against the Demons, is 30-for-30 on the season and dating back to the 2022 season, has made 67 consecutive PATs.
