Sam Vidlak Wins SLC Offensive POTW, Trashawn Adams Wins SLC Honorable Mention Special Teams POTW

DALLAS, Texas- Sam Vidlak was named the Southland Conference (SLC) offensive player of the week for his performance against the Houston Christian Huskies.

Vidlak, a junior from Applegate, Oregon had yet another great night for the 'Jacks. Vidlak was 20-for-28 (71.4%) with 316 passing yards and five passing touchdowns, tying his career-high mark set in the season opener against North American University. Vidlak has also completed over 70 percent of his passes in four straight games. Vidlak connected with Jordan Nabors for a 96-yard touchdown pass for the first touchdown of the game on a 96-yard pass. It was the second longest in Lumberjacks history, only behind a 97-yard touchdown pass by Peyton Jones to Mikhael Ricks in 1997. He had three touchdown passes in the first half alone.

Trashawn Adams also garnered SLC Special Teams honorable mention honors. Adams recorded his first punt return touchdown of his career taking it 46 yards to the house to extend the 'Jacks lead.
