
Erin Morgan Named to Top Drawer Soccer Team Of The Week

A sophomore defender, Morgan assisted twice and played all but 25 minutes in a week where the Jacks earned clean sheet victories over Southeastern Louisiana and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
SFA will finish out their home stand with their pink out match on Friday, October 18th against Incarnate Word at 5:30 p.m.

Women's Team of the Week: October 7-October 13
GK: Erynn Floyd, Louisville - The Connecticut native produced one of the top goalkeeping showings of the season, saving ten shots in a 0-0 draw with a No. 8 Notre Dame team that had scored in 25 straight matches.
D: Alex Morris, Oklahoma State - One of the best wing-backs in college soccer proved so once again, with a goal each in clean-sheet victories over Houston and Cincinnati.
D: Aneta Sovakova, Stony Brook - Sovakova pulled the strings against Hampton, assisting half of the team's goals in the 6-0 win before putting in a solid 78 minutes to earn another victory versus Delaware.

M: Maggie Graham, Duke - The Graduate senior delivered two distinctively impressive performances to help Duke earn road victories at No. 5 Stanford and No. 10 California.
M: Lainey Higgins, Wisconsin-Milwaukee - Higgins was responsible for half of the team's goals with three scored in clean sheet defeats of Youngstown State and Purdue Fort Wayne.
M: Maria Alagoa, USC - The senior midfielder did it all for the Trojans, scoring twice and assisting once as the team earned massive Big Ten road wins at Illinois and Northwestern.
M: Mya Ulloa, Texas State - A fifth-year senior leading a surging team, Ulloa provided two goals and an assist to push the team past Troy and Louisiana-Monroe.
F: Ioanna Papatheodorou, Washington - The Greek forward doubled up, scoring twice against Michigan, then repeating the performance against Michigan State as the Huskies picked up two conference victories.
F: Joyelle Washington, Detroit Mercy - A clutch performer, after scoring a hat trick to lead a 4-3 comeback defeat of Wright State, Washington would then assist the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Cleveland State.
F: Julia Kristensen, Missouri State - After recording an assist against Murray State, Kristensen reached another level versus UIC with one goal and another three assists in just 39 minutes of soccer.
