
Men’s Golf Finishes 5th at MartinFed Invitational

KILLEN, AL – The Stephen F. Austin men's golf team wrapped up play yesterday at the MartinFed Invitational in Killen, Alabama finishing in fifth place overall at +7 over par with 884 total strokes.
Eyan Edsall was the top finisher for the Lumberjacks tying for 28th at +3 over par and 219 total strokes. The remaining four players for the Lumberjacks, Cameron Hubbard, Matthew Hewitt, Sam Gargis, and Zach Robertson all finished tied for 41st overall at +8 over par and 224 total strokes.
The Lumberjacks will return to action October 21st-22nd as they travel to Matthews, Louisiana to compete in the La Tour Intercollegiate. The men will look to repeat last year's performance and win the event for the second year.
