
Two Lumberjacks Named to The 26th Annual Academic All-Star Team

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Lumberjacks football players Tkai Lloyd and Clint Lapic have been named to the Football Championship Subdivision Athletic Directors Association (FCS ADA) 26th Annual Academic All-Star Team.
Fifty-two student-athletes were selected to the All-Star team from 104 applicants. The United Athletic Conference had eight student athletes honored, tying the Coastal Athletic Association for the top spot.
Stephen F. Austin Director of Athletics and current FCS ADA President, Ryan Ivey, said "These young men excel at high levels in the classroom and demonstrate the commitment on the field and in the community. Annually, we have the good fortune to read about and select the next group of outstanding leaders for our division and this year is no different. My congratulations to Tkai and Clint and each of the student-athletes nominated and those selected below for this outstanding achievement."
Clint completed his fifth season with the Lumberjacks in 2023. The center from Hallsville, Texas played in 36 games during his career. He is recognized for his 3.2 GPA throughout the fall semester.
Tkai completed his fourth season with the Lumberjacks after transferring from Texas A&M Commerce. The defensive back from Allen, Texas played in 40 games during his career. He is recognized for his 4.0 GPA throughout the fall semester.
