NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The 2023-2024 Women's Golf schedules are set and feature five tournaments starting September 10 in Pawleys Island, South Carolina and concluding the Fall schedule on Oct. 24 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Spring schedule will also feature five tournaments starting February 19 in Corpus Christi, Texas and ending with the Western Athletic Conference Championship April 19 in Payson, Arizona
The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks will make their first appearance this weekend, September 10-12, at the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, South Carolina at the Caledonia Golf Club.
"I am very excited for our Women's team this season as we have a lot of experience coming back with six returning players and two fresh faces," said Trey Schroeder, Ladyjacks head coach. "We are looking to start the season off strong with our trip to South Carolina to play in the Golfweek Fall Challenge this coming weekend. The event is always a great way to start the season at a beautiful course and see where we stand early in the season."
SFA will return to Texas from September 25-26 as the Ladyjacks will compete at the Huntsville Toyota Bearkat Invitational against Sam Houston State University.
The Ladyjacks will then hit the road to Cape Girardeau, Missouri October 2-3 to tee off in the SIU Saluki Invitational against Southern Illinois University.
SFA will then head to Glen Rose, Texas October 9th to compete in the Texan Match Play against Tarleton State University.
SFA will close their Fall campaign in Hot Springs, Arkansas October 22-24 at the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic facing the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
The Ladyjacks start their spring season in Corpus Christi, Texas at the Islander Classic competing against Texas A&M Corpus Christi February 19-20.
The Ladyjacks travel to Sugar land, Texas March 11-12 to play in the HCU Women's Husky Intercollegiate against Houston Christian University.
Two weeks later, March 25-26, the Ladyjacks return to Missouri to play in the Ozarks National Invitational in Hollister, Missouri versus Missouri State.
The women's team will finish their regular season with a trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma, April 8-9, to play in the ORU Invitational against Oral Roberts University.
SFA's schedule concludes with a trip to Payson, Arizona to play in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship from April 19-21.
