SFA Golf Reveals Renovations to Indoor Facility

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - SFA Golf and Head Coach Trey Schroeder revealed new renovations to their Indoor Facility this past Friday.
Coach Schroeder had a huge personal hand in planning and constructing the renovations. "I really built it so they could live in here. At night, in the mornings and rough weather days, I want them to hang out in here and build some family friendships," Coach said. Trey added that, "This is their facility and it is one that I never had during my time here as a Lumberjack."
Director of Athletics Ryan Ivey also helped in the planning stages and the prep work over the past few years to help make this project a reality. In his statement to the team at the reveal, he mentioned the critical help of donors to support the project. Ivey shared, "This project is 100% privately funded, so there are a lot of donors that have stepped up to help you guys. We're all really excited for your teams to be in this space!"
Coach Schroeder continued by stating that "This is another addition to making a better student-athlete experience, improving performance both on the course and in the classroom."
Both the 'Jacks will be kicking off their Fall Seasons this weekend.
