SFA Women’s Soccer Drops Conference Road Match to Utah Valley

The Lumberjacks entered the match against the Wolverines coming off a close 2-0 loss to the ACU Wildcats and were looking to spoil Utah Valley's first home game in nearly a month. The Wolverines coming off a 4-0 win over GCU, were looking to win their first home game of the season. Utah Valley ended the victor as they defeated the Lumberjacks 10-0. Faith Webber scored two goals to move into a tie for fourth place in the nation in goals with 12.
Lydia Sattler made ten saves and played the entire 90 minutes in goal for SFA while Lily Hargrove recorded a shot for SFA. Kyra Guhl, Ella Morgan, Morgan Donohue, Avery Brandt, and Gabrielle Gipson all played over 60 minutes for the 'Jacks, while Kyra Guhl and Ella Morgan were workhorses for SFA as they played the full 90 minutes.
The Lumberjacks stay on the road for their next match as they travel to the Pacific Northwest to face off with the Seattle University Redhawks on Sunday, October 1st at 2:00 p.m. CT.
