Aaron Sears Named UAC Freshman Player of the Week

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The UAC named their first week of conference players of the week today. SFA's Aaron Sears was selected as the conference's Freshman of the Week.
Sears led the Lumberjacks on defense with his standout performance at safety in this weekends 22-20 loss to Austin Peay. He posted a stat line that included three solo tackles and seven assisted tackles. Sears was credited with 10 total tackles in the Lumberjack's weekend contest. He posted career highs in all three categories.
As a redshirt freshman, Sears has five solo tackles, 11 assists, 16 total tackles, and a .5 tackle for loss.
